In this call for abstracts we aim to achieve presentations that reflect leadership in actively
responding to SV. Selection of abstracts will take into consideration those that demonstrate innovation and
leadership in their approach and conform to the conditions listed below:
- Abstracts
should conform to conference theme
- Abstracts should reflect work on sexual violence in
Africa
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
- Programme related abstracts must have the
following: title, background, objective, process and lessons learnt/conclusion
- Research related
abstracts must contain the following: title, background, methods, findings and
conclusion
Submission of Abstracts
- All abstracts are peer reviewed
and ranked on the basis of merits in the category selected. The programme committees use these rankings to
develop the final conference programme.
- Abstracts submitted for presentation will be published in the
abstract book at the discretion of the committee.
- Abstracts will not be reviewed after the deadline
i.e. the 15th of July 2008.
Deadline for abstract submission is July 15th 2008
